All about pool FILTERS
Minimum Flow Rate
Pool Filters have to be matched or paired with the pool pump. In many cases, we find that the pool filter is not matched with the pump and this will have a huge impact on filtration. You can always have your filter slightly bigger but never too small.
Maintenance
Make sure that you backwash and rinse the pool filter (Sand) on a regular basis. If you do not have a pressure gauge installed on your filter you should consider doing this on a weekly basis.
Filter Sand and Glass Media
Every sand filter has filter media inside the filter tank, this can be silica filter sand or Recycled Glass. We highly suggest you consult us to find out what the best solution for your situation will be.
